Englewood Beach Waterfest

For the past 2 days, Englewood’s Offshore Race Rescue Team has been training in advanced rescue techniques, achieving SFI Dive Rescue Certifications for 3 members of Englewood’s Team. Students while already being accomplished rescue divers and Emergency Medical Technicians honed their skills, focused solely on capsized boat extractions, boat ejections, hemorrhage control in water, and vertical and boat insertion techniques.
