Englewood Beach Waterfest Selected by Southeast Tourism Society as STS Top 20 Event in the Southeast for November 2020

PUNTA GORDA/ENGLEWOOD BEACH, Fla. – (June 6, 2020) – The Southeast Tourism Society has named Englewood Beach Waterfest an STS Top 20 Event in the Southeast for November 2020. This is the second consecutive year the event has earned an STS Top 20 Event honor.

Englewood Beach Waterfest is Nov. 19 – 22 in Englewood and Manasota Key. The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.

Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: Southeast Tourism Society and Travel Media Press Room.

“We are appreciative to be recognized as a premier event on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast and honored it is included as a top 20 event in the Southeastern United States. This recognition is a testament to the tireless efforts of our board of directors, hundreds of volunteers, and sponsors who work throughout the year to bring together Englewood Beach Waterfest,” said Steve Gardiner, president of Englewood Beach Waterfest.

Englewood Beach Waterfest is a celebration of everything water. Included in the celebration is a block party with music, food, and display of race boats; Waterfest Village and the Family Conservation Center with interactive exhibits showcasing the conservation of Southwest Florida’s marine life, coastal waterways, and beaches; food, entertainment, and vendors; and the Offshore Powerboat Association’s World Championship Races. Englewood Beach Waterfest is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. Events take place in Englewood and Manasota Key.
